Legal
Cookies notice.
What this site stores in your browser, and why. Last updated 18 April 2026.
1. Summary
predictivelabs.io does not set tracking cookies, does not use third-party advertising cookies, and does not use cross-site analytics that profile you. Local storage in your browser is limited to a short-lived cache for the live market ticker.
2. What we use
We currently use one technology that stores information in your browser:
- sessionStorage — ticker cache. When you visit the homepage, our JavaScript saves the most recent ticker data in your browser's sessionStorage under the key
pl_ticker_cache_v1. This lets the ticker display faster on repeat navigation within the same tab session. The cache is limited to 5 minutes and is automatically cleared when you close the tab. It contains only market data (titles, venue names, probabilities), no personal information.
3. What we do not use
- We do not set first-party or third-party tracking cookies.
- We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or similar tracking tools.
- We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.
- We do not use fingerprinting techniques to identify you across sites.
4. Service-provider storage
Our hosting provider (Netlify) may set operational cookies on its edge infrastructure for load balancing, security, or bot mitigation. These cookies are not used to identify or profile individual visitors for marketing purposes.
5. Your controls
You can clear sessionStorage and cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking sessionStorage will not prevent the site from loading; the ticker will simply re-fetch its data on every page view instead of using the cache.
- Chrome. Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → Cookies and site data.
- Safari. Settings → Privacy.
- Firefox. Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge. Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data.
6. Changes
If we introduce analytics, consent flows, or other browser-storage mechanisms in the future, this page will be updated before those tools are deployed, and where required by law a consent banner will be added.
